PSA: Instagram polls are NOT anonymous

In the latest update for Instagram, the app rolled out a polling feature in its Snapchat clone, which allows a user to ask their followers to vote between two choices. While polls aren’t groundbreaking on social media, (Twitter rolled out polls in 2015), there is one thing different about Instagram polls that you should probably know before you vote your heart out: They are not anonymous. Usain Bolt’s final race ended with an unexpected injury, but he’s still a legend

This wasn’t supposed to be how it ended. What should have been a triumphant finish to a momentous career ended in injury when Usain Bolt fell to the track in the midst of his last-ever race at the IAAF World Championships in London on Saturday. SEE ALSO: Usain Bolt’s favorite fitness app is Kevin Hart’s Snapchat Bolt had apparently developed a cramp in his left hamstring just after taking the baton in his anchor leg of the 4×100 relay and was unable to finish. Snapchat drags Instagram so hard with its April Fools’ Day filter

Every April Fools’ Day joke this year is pretty bad. Snapchat’s, however, isn’t.  It’s true. Snapchat has an actually hilarious prank in a year when it’s pretty much impossible to outdo the jokes of our daily lives.  The app is offering a filter that lets you make any Snapchat look like an Instagram post. Snapchat FINALLY lets you create Groups

Snapchat has finally introduced one of its long-awaited features: Groups. Snapchat users can now create a group chat with up to 16 friends. You can create a Group by starting in the Chat part of the app and clicking the upper left corner button to start a new message thread. SEE ALSO: This is getting ridiculous. Facebook just ripped off Snapchat’s navigation. After selecting up to 16 users, you can choose a name for the Group.   Within the Group chat, you’ll see each participant’s name at the bottom.  Like in other Snapchat messages, chats sent to the Group are deleted automatically after 24 hours.  You can also send stickers, Bitmojis, Friendmojis, voice notes and video notes.  Read more…More about Shazam, Tech, Business, Apps And Software, and Snapchat Groups
