Dog-Loving Artist Draws Hilarious Sketches Inspired By His Bull Terrier

When seeking inspiration on Instagram, look no further than man’s best friend. Brazilian artist and advertising professional Rafael Mantesso always wanted a bull terrier since he was a little boy. When he got married, he decided to make his little family complete by getting his dream dog: A pup named Jimmy Choo (after the famous shoe brand). World Cup Fans Snub Pricey Rio Hotels for the Beach

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil – Unwilling or unable to pay exorbitant hotel prices, hundreds of soccer fans in Brazil for the World Cup have opted to camp out on the beach during the tournament. Fans arriving in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro are sleeping on Copacabana Beach, and are also filling the Rodoviria Novo Rio intercity bus terminal and other public locations. Subway Workers Clash With Police Ahead of Brazil’s World Cup

SAO PAULO — Brazilian police and striking subway workers clashed Monday in a central commuter station, with union officials threatening to maintain the work stoppage through the World Cup opening match here this week. Authorities are deeply worried about the strike, because the subway is the main means of transportation for World Cup fans who will attend Thursday’s opening match when Brazil takes on Croatia. The stadium is about 12 miles east of central Sao Paulo, where most tourists stay. There were hopes the work stoppage may come to an end. Early Monday afternoon union officials were negotiating for the first time in days with government authorities in an attempt to end the strike.
