This footage shows torrents of water cascading down a staircase in Garibaldi train station on Wednesday evening: A section of the towpath alongside the Naviglio Pavese canal in downtown Milan collapsed due to the flooding. While the level of the Seveso river had dropped on Thursday, the Lambro remained high. The province of Milan was also affected by the flooding, with many schools in the area still closed.
